Used in a pair with the #8 profile in shapers and router tables, this cutter is designed to make half of a drop leaf joint used on sofa, dining and Pembroke type tables.

The cutter forms a 1/2” radius cove with 1/4” long flats on the sides allowing for joints in stock from 3/4” to 1” thick.
