We offer 50 distinct knife profiles to be used in molding heads. Our knives are made in multiples of three to ensure that each knife in the set is the same weight. This attention to balancing the knives guarantees that they will spin smoothly with no excess vibration, providing the smoothest possible cuts. (Link to Making Video)

All of our knives are made from High Speed Steel (HSS), which can be sharpened to a finer edge than carbide, providing a superior cut. HSS knives can be sharpened quickly and easily using common shop tools (Link to Sharpening Video) and ground into custom profiles as needed.

Corob Cutters manufactures a wide range of standard ogee, round profiles, cove profiles, and joinery knives as well. Many of our designs have multiple shapes allowing you to cut individual details using different parts of a knife. Most of our profiles are also found in our Shaper Cutter line, giving you the ability to use the molding head and shaper together. This combination provides huge advantages over using either separately. (Link to Matched Cutters Video)

We offer all of our knife profiles in two formats; one to fit Craftsman and Corob’s MHK molding heads, and a second style to fit our MHKHD as well as Delta molding heads.

Craftman & Corob Molding Knives

Corob molding knives fit Corob MHK as well as existing Craftsman molding heads. They are easily identified by a shallow groove milled down the back of each knife.

Delta Molding Knives

Delta molding knives have a smooth back to fit their molding heads flawlessly.
