While well known for our molding heads, Corob Cutters also makes a full line of ½” bore shaper cutters. Most of our shaper cutter profiles are an exact match to our molding head knives, allowing them to be used together for more milling options than using either separately. Our 3 wing shaper cutters are made of high speed steel for the smoothest possible results, and can be easily sharpened using common shop tools. Manufacturing our shaper cutters from high speed steel also makes our cutters easy to grind to custom profiles when needed.
Our shaper cutters can be used on any shaper with a ½" spindle; they can also be mounted on our ADP10 Arbor for use in router tables. Our shaper cutters are ONLY for use in router tables, never in hand-held operations.
Many of our shaper cutters are designed with more than one profile for maximum flexibility. A wide variety of results can be produced by utilizing different fences and/or height settings. Several are matched cutters for creating perfect joints in various applications.
